Location’s perfect, right between Copacabana and Ipanema. Clean, roomy digs. Staff’s super chill, really made my stay nice. Breakfast was decent, but could use a bit more variety. WiFi’s a bit of a hassle—keeps logging me out. Overall, solid vibes. The mini-bar was appreciated after long beach days.

Had a decent stay at Copa Sul! The location is super close to the beach. Breakfast offered a great variety. The air conditioning was pretty noisy and the beds were a bit hard. Still, I enjoyed my time overall.

The hotel is conveniently located between Copacabana and Ipanema, making it easy to access two of Rio's most famous beaches.

The lack of hot water during peak morning hours made it challenging to enjoy a shower before starting the day.

absoluteley ridiculous! my 5-night stay at copa sul left me feeling less than pampered. the breakfast was poor, i could hardly even find a decent dish to enjoy. ridiculous charges for boiling water too! and to top it all off, a much-needed room upgrade was totally ignored. i just couldn’t give a good review!

the air conditioning unit is incredibly noisy!!! the USB sockets are the only outlet type available. a hairdryer in the room is an unexpected omission!!! water pressure is inconsistent, making showers frustrating.

I appreciated the friendly service at the front desk. they were always willing to help with any questions I had. However, the air conditioning in my room was quite loud and made it hard to sleep at night. There were some plumbing noises that disrupted my sleep as well, which was frustrating. The absence of a hairdryer in the room was an unexpected inconvenience, especially since I've had them provided at other hotels. Overall, while there were some issues, I still enjoyed my stay and loved the proximity to the beach.

Solo traveler’s good choice

I stayed for 5 nights and the breakfast was pretty solid! They had a nice variety, although had to juggle a few small plates to get everything I wanted. The staff, especially the girls at the front desk during the day, were super sweet and went out of their way to help me. The security at the entrance was also really proactive, giving me that extra peace of mind while I was there.

It wasn’t cheap, but honestly, I found it still acceptable for what I got.

We enjoyed spending our mornings at the beach, renting bikes to explore the area like real locals. The breakfast was packed with fresh fruit and delicious juices, which gave us energy to start our day right. It was a blast for the whole family.

For dads, it would be great to have earlier check-in times.
